Saying Goodbye
First off, let me apologise for taking so long to update our site after Ron's
passing. It's hard to write about losing someone you care about. Especially in such a public venue and frankly, I needed some time to do some
healing of my own before I was ready to take on the task.
Play in a band with someone long enough and they become like family.
Ronnie was family. In the years he played with us he had become our brother! In a lot of ways, a big brother.
He was always trying to mentor us. To help us to become better, musically as well as spiritually. " Come on you guys. It sounds like a dirge.
Put some life into it." or "Now that's what I'm talking about. You guys really nailed it that time."
His enthusiasm and expertise were valuable contributions to the band known as Jefferson. We will soldier on but we will never be the same without him.
